Mastering Your Song With In 24 Hours

About:

Mastering is purely a technical process, but before startup working, I need a clear information about

1. how you mixed (New York Style, LA Style, London Style or Nashville Style)

2. for which platform (radio, TV, internet services like iTunes, Spotify, Youtube...etc) you want me to master



Before mastering, it is better to check

1. for Phase relation between left and right channels

2. for available headroom (around 6 dB to 9 dB headroom required)

3. for loudness matching between left and right channels



During mastering your song, I may use

1. Mid-Side Processing in Compressor, Equaliser

2. Stereo widening process

3. to shape the sound according to the available & commonly used three dimensional space



Instead of increasing overall loudness (called as loudness war), I cut the loudness of unpleasant frequencies in different ways.My mastered file peaks at 0.5dB.But still if you feel that you need more loudness, you have a volume knob in your media player, so I recommend you to use it.
